Apple Is Bringing Four New Animoji to iOS

If you happen to have any of Apple’s newest iPhones that support Animoji, there are four new animals coming your way. With iOS 12.2 beta 2, Apple is releasing four new Animoji for devices like the iPhone X, iPhone Xr, iPhone Xs, and iPhone Xs Max.
The four new Animoji include a giraffe, a warthog, a shark, and my favourite, an owl. All of these new Animoji use the same TrueDepth camera technology as the other Animoji, meaning you can record videos with them with a bunch of different facial expressions in real-time.

While all these new Animoji are cute, the shark one is probably going to be the most popular new Animoji because of the Baby Shark memes. With these four new Animoji, Apple now has a total number of 24 Animoji, which is pretty decent. Apple did introduce the ability to create your own Animoji personas with Memoji in iOS 12 so you don’t have to keep waiting for the company to add its own Animoji. The difference being, however, is you can only create human personas with Memoji while the native Animoji are mostly all animals.
Apple will release the new Animoji with iOS 12.2 sometime soon, though it will be more interesting to see if the company has any big plans for Animoji in iOS 13.
